Maarifat* Mystical gnosis or intimate knowledge of Allah beyond rational comprehension. Maarifat is experiential, intuitive understanding of divine attributes and presence cultivated through devotion, meditation, and spiritual practice. It represents the highest spiritual station accessible to the human soul in Islamic mysticism.
